And you think Bane is bad-ass?

What you you will be quick to understand, is that I watch a lot of movies and I have a lot to say about them. I am very picky when it comes to the films and actors that I enjoy to watch. Someone who is gradually pushing their way up my list is Mr. Tom Hardy. Most of you saw him in Nolan’s Inception and most recently as Bane in Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises. What few know is that Tom Hardy landed this role as Bane due to his incredible performance as Charles Bronson in the movie Bronson, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The character of Bronson, as portrayed by Hardy, is this brutal and relentless fighter with no other instinct than to destroy. There is a definite mutual symbiosis in the way Hardy’s acting compliments Refn’s style of direction. The soundtrack to the movie is brilliant as well. I also feel that the “low budget quality” of the movie adds to theme of who and what Bronson is. I highly suggest taking an hour and a half out of your life to watch this film, which is available on instant Netflix. Guaranteed a 6 to Midnight.
