Kelly Slater came into Jacks Surfboards of Huntington Beach today for a signing as well as an interview open to the public. Kelly Slater is one of the most well known and superb surfers of all time. This week he is surfing in the US Open of Surfing which is in Huntington Beach California. He will be surfing against other pro surfers such as Mick Fanning, Julian Wilson, Joel Parkinson, and many more. If you are not a fan of surfing then there is also a Skate competition with Paul Rodriguez, Kenny Anderson, Ryan Reyes, and many more. Today there were a few thousand people in Huntington Beach and it is expected to get even more crowded as the weekend gets closer. There are rumors that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing for free sometime this week so if you get the chance come over to HB and join the fun.
